Feed-a-Family – A Homeless Prevention Program Contact and service times- Please see locations page for service points. Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for Daytona Beach and Ormond Beach. Days and times vary for Southeast Volusia and Port Orange areas.
Halifax Urban Ministries provides a Feed-a-Family Bag of food that feeds a family of four (4) approximately five to seven meals per week. We are delighted when we can had frozen food to your package to increase the number of meals you can prepare. A family or individual must present a photo identification card, a current rent receipt or utility bill with in the past 30 days to receive food. Currently Feed-a-Family Bags are served on an EVERY OTHER month cycle. Feedings
The Bridge of Hope serves a 5 course hot meal to our homeless guests and families 363 days per year. This daily meal is one-third of our guests daily nutrition. We serve from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. daily, Monday through Sunday.
The meals are served by over 400 volunteers representing 35 faith based groups from Oakhill to Ormond Beach. The Bridge of Hope is located on 320 North Street, Daytona Beach, FL 32114., 386.252.9400 ext. 25.
